Geek Gateway is a project I've been thinking about for years. I've done other blog projects in the past, mostly focused around one area of interest. DisTech (distech.wordpress.com), for example, was a project that lasted a couple years and gave me a place to explore the cross-section of my Disney fandom and interest in technology. Later, I spent some time on Medium writing about Star Wars, specifically where the franchise was after The Force Awakens rocked theaters (https://medium.com/me/stories/public). Later, I started up a self-named website, where I blogged about a variety of topics, but it ended up being mainly about video games - with a few other things sprinkled in (adamgoswick.wordpress.com).
But, like other things in life, interests shift from time to time. I've wanted a place where I'd be able to talk about all of those things - and more - no matter what topic they touch on. Enter: Geek Gateway.
This is where I'll be talking about everything that interests me. It's my gateway to geek out. No topic is off limits. If it interests me, it'll make its way here eventually. And hopefully, what I talk about here will also interest you.
